Its expansive scale and cool colour palette would be enough to evoke a sense of the majestic Thames flowing nearby, or perhaps the sweeping tranquility of neighbouring Battersea Park. But the architect didn't stop there, expertly shaping this home around lofty skylights and cavernous glass ceilings, allowing the light to flood in and illuminate these interiors in all their glory. You're greeted by a luxurious living room and study, where soft tones and elegant touches (vintage marble fireplace and spangled gold chandelier, anyone?) sit bathed in the light pouring through those splendid double doors on to the kitchen. The latter pairs sleek surfaces with azure accents, and is practically begging for a few dinner parties with family and friends. Plus, whether it's al fresco weather or not, that well-placed glass ceiling means you can enjoy any meal basking under the open skies. The two adult bedrooms weave a spell of serenity in their more traditional aesthetic, whilst the children's rooms, though up in the eaves, are both bright and airy. Each bedroom comes with an immaculate en-suite bathroom, making it even trickier to pick your favourite...although if push comes to shove, we'd probably plump for the exquisite principal suite with its roll-top bath.

If there's one spot we'd like to try out on a warm summer's evening, it's got to be that delightful garden, with its sun-trap patio shaded by climbing vines and beautifully tended flowerbeds. Home Truths
No smoking or parties. Well-behaved dogs allowed on request. A dog is one of the family members who usually lives here. Though the dog will not be present during your stay, and the home is cleaned to a high Veeve standard, please note that the property may not be suitable for those with allergies. This home is set over four floors. The third bedroom sleeps three guests, with two single bunk beds with a single trundle bed underneath. Two of the bedrooms have air conditioning and the bathrooms boast underfloor heating. A TV and games room, plus a laundry room, can be found on the basement floor. A fifth double bedroom with ensuite and kitchenette is available on request. If not requested it may be booked by a tenant who has access from the exterior of the house and the internal doors are locked from each side for complete privacy. We will charge a £500 deposit for this property. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.
